New crochet beauty...

I have a spot in garden in need of filling, after one of my ceramic containers was broken during the crazy winds we have been having. Instead of heading straight back to the shops I thought I might see if I could create something to fit there instead....

School holiday fun...

Today a group of lovely ladies (and gents), followed by their offspring, (some there own, some borrowed) descended upon the botanical gardens in need of some good old fashioned school holiday fun.

And what fun was had by all.....a treasure hunt through the gardens, a craft session, and lunch followed by some live theatre. What else could a 5 and 7 year old want!

Found goodness...

Oh how I love find things on long walks and sometimes bring these treasures home to swoon over.

Miss R's blanket finally finished...

What a relief to have finally completed Miss R's blanket. It's a bubble flower pattern which I just adore, especially for the lovely little ladies.

Kangaroo valley road trip...

On the road again, off to the Kangaroo Valley this time.

What a gorgeous day full of sunshine, turkish delight fudge, skateboarding and rummaging through old book stores.

Couldn't believe it. And mentions my dad as a 2 1/2 year old boy. Very special...

Skater boy

We have just discovered the coolness of skateboards in our house and Master G has taken to it really easily. He is now officially obsessed! Can't get enough....

Beautiful day out...

Miss R and I had a gorgeous day out at the botanical gardens, checking out the massive eels, feeding the ducks and wandering through the beautiful new spring growth.

we then had fun exploring this awesome metal sculpture...

I found an absolutely beautiful old wooden chair from a beloved oppy today, it is a bit beaten up but totally lovely. The more beaten up the better i say...
